Twisted yarn is also called double twisted yarn or twisted yarn. It is a process of twisting monofilament or strand to obtain a certain twist direction and number of twists, similar to twisting a rope.
The role of twisted silk:
(1) Increase the strength and abrasion resistance of the silk thread to reduce fluff and broken ends, and improve the fastness of the silk fabric.
(2) Make the silk thread a certain shape and color, and give the appearance of the fabric with the effects of refraction, crepe or terry, knots and so on.
